GRAVELERS UNITE
The Salida76 is a far-out gravel adventure for all the explorers out there. We base our camp in the laid-back City of Salida and offer a spectacular weekend of two-wheeled, self-propelled frivolity. It’s September at its finest.
Seventy-six miles or 76k of gorgeous backcountry roads that will remind you why you love gravel in the first place.
It’s a race, a ride, and a helluva good time. Let’s chill out and ride bikes.
THE COURSEs
This course is remote, beautiful, and ridden by few. Don’t take this gravel pill alone, as it’s out there—but we’ll be your guide.
Want to race? Sure! If you cross the line in the top 3 for your age category or top 5 overall, some sweet swag will be presented to you by a lovely podium dog or somebody’s kid. Want to just ride and explore new places, knowing we have your back? Perfect. We’ll be out there with you, doing the same thing.
A full weekend of frivolity
Fill your cup with the gravel odyssey of the Salida76 on Saturday, and top it off with the Banana Belt on Sunday. Shake-a-shake-a, and you have the Salida Bike Fest.
Saturday - SALIDA 76
Dirtbag with us; we’ll get you home safe. 76 miles of undiscovered terrain. As with all our events, proceeds are directed back to the local community (HS Mtb Team, Salida Mtn Trails, and more).
Sunday - BANANA BELT MTB RACE Looking for a little mountain biking? Not into the gravel thing? We got you. Forty miles of sweet single track leaving Salida on Sunday morning. Benefitting Salida Mountain Trails.
Dare You
Triple Dog Dare (or for you mythology enthusiasts, The Cerberus). We’re giving everyone the opportunity to sign up for the Hundo, Salida76, and the Banana Belt in one reckless click of a mouse button. Register for all three on February 19. Mwa-ha-ha-ha!
Only want to do two? Sure, we Double Dog as well. Sign up for any two - we’re easy. But it’s not.
